Director of Legal Affairs and Enforcement

Responsibility: 1.To head the Directorate of Legal Affairs and Enforcement 2. To formulate rules and regulations for the purposes of regulating the activities of capital markets and security authority 3. To handle legal issues on the security industry matters relating to international and regional cooperation or integration. 4. Disseminating information on security industry regulatory issues to the public and other relevant bodies within and outside the country. 5. Keeping abreast of and reviewing related laws of the country and proposing amendments to the capital markets and securities Legislation. 6. Providing legal advice to the capital markets and securities authority. 7. Taking part in research projects on legal and other pertinent issues relating to the security for the purposes of creating an enabling environment for the orderly growth and development of the capital market and securities industry in Tanzania. 8. Performing any other duties as will be assigned by the Chief Executive Officer. Source: The Guardian
