Registered Nurse Maternal and New Born Health Program

Duties to Include: ? To provide high quality clinical Maternal and new born care services at a Dar es salaam Regional hospital supported by the MNCH program and future MH ? Strengthening referral pathways in the catchment area of CCBRT MH ? Provides support to the CCBRT MNCH team and the MH team towards training of staff for the future MH. ? Conducts on-site training and promotes scientific problem solving ? Support the facility quality improvement team and facility audit teams ? To ensure Implementation of standards of care and ensure high quality of care ? Relationship management: Maintains the partnerships and collaboration with relevant stakeholders (health professionals & medical professional organisations and partners in the municipal and Regional offices. ? Supporting the implementation of standard operating procedures ? Support the implementation of a perinatal data recording system and promoting perinatal audit meetings ? Act as a mentor to support service deliver Work Experience / Skills: ? Registered Nurse, or Bsc Nursing with clinical competencies in Emergency Obstetric Care, paediatric nursing, theatre nursing Prenatal Health Care, Women's Health Care ? Working experience in developing countries, preferably good knowledge and working experience in the Tanzanian health system Qualifications: ? Registered Nurse preferably with degree in Nursing ?
