The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the international Development Association (IDA) toward the cost of the Tanzania Intermodal and Rall Development project (TIRP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to eligible payments under the contract for individual consultant to Rell Assets Holding Company (RAHCO). Project description The project focuses on the rehabilitation of the Dar es Salaam-Isaka (970 KM) section of the central railway line through the following components. i. Component A: Improvement of Rail Infrastructure ii. Component B: Rolling Stock. iii. Component C: Development of Isaka terminal, ilala terminal and Dar es salaam port platform. iv. Component D: institutional strengthening and capacity building. The objective of the assignment is to prepare a standalone chapter for designing, installing and maintaining continuous welded Rail (CWR) Track which can be incorporated into the TRC Civil Engineering Manual` (1998). The assignment will be for a period of 2 months. The Rail Assets Holding Company Limited (RAHCO) now invites qualified and experienced individuals, to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested qualified and experienced individual consultants must provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services. Such information may include updated detailed CV`s duty signed, certified copies of academic and professional certificates and description of similar assignments undertaken. For each assignement performed, the consultant shall provide the following i. Name and address of the clieant. ii. Dates of execution. An individual Consultant will be selected in accordance with the selection of individual Consultants Method set out in the consultant Guidelines. The attention of interested consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the world Bank`s Guidelines: selectrion and employment of consultants under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and grants by world Bank Borrowers doted January 2011, revised July 2014 (“Consultant Guidelines”) setting forth the world Bank`s policy on conflict of interest.
