JOB OBJECTIVE: To ensure smooth and efficient operations of the Marketing department by coordinate and cooperate within department and between departments to ensuring that Marketing service according to Company’s policies and procedures To assist the Marketing Director with any issues related to the Marketing Department DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Communicate the Startimes policy to staff and stake holders by use of all forms of media and communications • Research and write press releases on issues regarding Startimes and ensure that they reach the target audience • Plan marketing and branding objectives. • Prepare publicity brochures, handouts, promotional videos that will serve to reach the companies policies to the public • Maintain the companies local website and intranet(if any) • Organize press conferences, exhibitions and press tours • Form a bridge/relationship with local media houses and relevant organizations • Draft answers to all questions relating to the companies strategies • Maintain the company’s corporate image and identity • Design print ads and publications. • Prepare an in-house newsletter( If within policy) • Drive the companies CSR initiatives • Collaborate with sales and other departments to develop strategic partnership activities and implement the execution framework and strategic plan on identified opportunities. • Develop and lead a marketing team that will develop and execute new sales, new concepts, business models, channels and partners to position business as innovator and leader. • Any other tasks assigned by the upper management SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: • Ability to provide outstanding Marketing service • Good knowledge/experience in Marketing activities • Possess strong knowledge related to work • Possess good communications and analytical skills – English and Swahili • A team player • Good manager of tasks • Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to maintain records and documentation pertaining to work force. • Problem solving skills • Computer Literacy EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: • A graduate(master’s degree) from a recognized university/college with not less than 5 years’ experience on managerial position from a fast paced Marketing Service Organization, Thirty five (35) years old and above.
