JOB OBJECTIVE: Ensure that all Business Hall functions are adequately carried out effectively putting into cognizance clients’ satisfaction and increased stake-holders value. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Planning Public Relations activities. • Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics. • Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media. • Coordinate all public relations activities. • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media • Manage media inquiries and interview requests. • Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations. • Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis. • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis. • Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness. • Develop Brand Building Campaigns for Local Driver Channels. • Monitor Marketing Expenditure and Additional budget requirements. • Ensure Allocation and recovery of expenditure. • Plan and develop of Media Scheduling and Implementation. • Plan and implement events. • Support Sales and Churn Management Functions. • Ensure Effective Internal Communication. • Co-ordinate Point of sale and promotional items. • Compile Monthly reports. • Manage Public Relations Budgets. • Build Relationship with Sales Staff and Marketing Staff and the CEO to always ensure a clear feel of the challenges facing the company image and advising where necessary. • Deal with Advertising agencies. • Manage Advertisement campaigns to be completed in English and regional local languages. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: • Capable of working long shifts (night and weekends required). • Have strong interest in digital television technology. • Hard working, good attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and enthusiasm for work performed. • Proven working experience in public relations required. • Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level. • Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets • Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews. • Exceptional writing and editing skills. • Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc. • Event planning experience. • Good people skills and experience in building teams. • Able to multitask and work under pressure. • Good problem solving skills and ability to take initiative. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline. • At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in public relations/journalism in a busy organization operating in a fast paced highly competitive environment (must have 3 years serve on Managerial position). • Age 30 years old and above.
