Role Description: Molly’s Network is looking for experienced individuals to conduct independent assessments of small, local, civil society organisations. The purpose of these assessments is to provide organisations operating at a very high standard external recognition through an accreditation stamp, which adds to their reputation and can connect them to donors and partners. For the organisations who do not meet the accreditation standards but who show potential, Molly’s Network will provide the support and training needed to help them step up to the next level. There are multiple stages to the assessment process, however, the Assessor will be required to review the organisational materials collected, conduct a site visit to interview beneficiaries and community members and finally conduct an office visit which will assess the organisation’s internal systems and processes. These Assessor findings are summarised in a report and shared with an Independent Assessment Panel who makes the decision on whether the organisation is at Accreditation standard or not. Each assessment will take on average two days, and can be done at weekends if the Assessor prefers. Molly’s Network conducts two assessment rounds per year. The Assessors will receive half a days training and will be notified of the assessment dates a few weeks in advance.
