SCOPE ? As a sales and Marketing Manager, your main goal is to maximize profits through developing sales strategies that match customer requirements and promoting products, services or ideas ? This includes planning, advertising, public – private relations, event organization, product development and distribution ? As well as approaching potential customers with the aim of winning new business, maintain good relationships with existing clients, engaging new products JOB DESCRIPTION ? Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organizations ? Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships ? Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters and DVDs ? Analyzing and investigating price, demand and competition on target product ? Maintaining and updating customer database ? Sourcing and securing sponsorship ? Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy ? Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions ? Writing reports, by reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed set targets ? Monitoring performance and managing campaigns on social media ? Gaining a clear understanding of customers businesses and requirements ? Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations ? Feeding future buying trends back to employers ? Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office, and entering data into computer system KEY SKILLS ? RESULTS ORIENTED ? Attention to detail EXPERIENCE ? 2-5 years of experience in this field MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ? Bachelors Degree in Sales/Marketing or equivalent with experience in procurement and purchasing ? Supervisory experience in the field of marketing ? Working knowledge of sales forecast report writing ? Working knowledge of target market share and segment division ? High competency level in MS Office applications
