Location: Other Arusha District Arusha Description: Working within the HR team and reporting to the HR Manager, the main purpose of this role is to assist the HR team with the 360 recruitment process and to ensure the HR Team provides a full service to the Company. The HR team is a shared resource and will demand careful attention to detail and commitment Key duties: Ensure that approval is obtained for posting and hiring. Anticipate and advertise for upcoming open volunteer and local positions Ensure timely initial response to email queries Provide requested documents and pertinent information to applicants, and ensure receipt of pertinent information from applicants prior to offering. Screen applicants’ qualifications and forward information to the Manager. Correspond with prospective International Volunteers, including informing of position requirements, making reference checks and the job offers Answer multiple questions regarding working and living in Arusha Participate on Interview teams where applicable Coordinate and assist with arrival logistics of each new International Volunteers. Conduct Orientation with each new International Volunteer in conjunction with the Manager or Head of Section Set up and maintain Personnel Files of International Volunteers. Assist in Visa and Work Permit process Provide Section Leads with calendars, leave schedule and attendance cards Ensure HR Systems are working accurately and efficiently (Aruti and Anviz) Send weekly attendance report to the Managers and Head of Sections. Ensure HR System queries are resolved on time. Measures: Timely advertising of open positions Email inquiries receive timely response Open positions filled in time for turnover whenever possible International Volunteers are well informed prior to and after arrival Accurate and efficient HR system generated reports. Forms and HR portion of Website are updated as applicable Compliance with the HR Policy Manual.
