Domestic Sales & Marketing Lead ( 1 Post-Female Only)

Location Arusha Mjini Arusha Description Roles: • Develop business plans and sales strategy for domestic sales of existing products such as beans, maize, and oil cake. • Develop new domestic markets for the company’s contracted and non-contracted farmers (e.g. food beans; sorghum/barley to breweries; linoleic sunflower oil; animal and poultry feed). • Analyse the spot markets for marketable crops in Tanzania and develop timing plan on buying and selling crop for profit. • Determine inefficiencies in Tanzanian crop markets and develop strategies to profit from the inefficiencies. • Evaluate present and future market opportunities to optimise and expand company products. • Build partnerships with non-governmental organizations that implement sustainable smallholder farmer value-chain programs where the company can provide a domestic or export market. Educational & Professional Qualifications: • BSc or MSc in Agro-Business, Sales & Marketing, Public Relation from an accredited University Working Experience: Has at least 3 years direct experience in selling and marketing of food beans; sorghum/barley to breweries; linoleic sunflower oil; animal and poultry feed). Skills/Attributes/Competencies: • Aggressive marketing & sales attributes. • Analytical, numerical skills and problems-solving ability; • Great abilities to grow sales margins for the company. • Great network of producers, supermarkets/shops, packers and transporters in Tanzania • Great sales & marketing communication (verbal and written) skills and interpersonal relationship, administration and IT skills and comfortable working in a team and using your own initiative; ? Endeavour to achieve highest standards of work and the ability to organise and manage your own workload; ? Knowledge of business, agriculture industry regulations and procedures, flexibility and a willingness to work in a busy and varied and harsh environment; ?
