Regularly analyze and report on measured data while developing and implementing specific plans to achieve improvements. -In liaison with customer service the incumbent should prepare a monthly DIFOT/SIFOT(Delivery in full on time/service in full on time). -Investigate and resolve on distribution quality complaints and service issues. -Participate in stock take. -Follow-up on slow moving products -Follow-up on stock levels (finished goods-level inventory) -In liason with other departments, co-ordinate the process of acquisition/disposal of assets in supply chain e.g forklift/ vehicles e.t.c -Under guidance of the SHEQ, you will implement quality, safety and environmental systems and guidelines in the area of responsibility Position Details Candidate must reside in: Dar - es - Salaam. Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Business related field -Previous work experience in logistics, transportation, operations or a related field -Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel and Access -Immigration sponsorship not available for this role Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation or a related field of study -Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel and Access -Exposure to TPM and/or Lean Manufacturing principals -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Ability to exercise independent judgement, think critically and work well in cross-functional teams.
