OT1/FY2018 HelpAge International is a global network of organizations promoting the right of all older people to lead dignified, healthy and secure lives. Our role is to work with older women and men in low and middle-income countries for better services and policies, and for changes in the behaviors and attitudes of individuals and societies towards the old. Currently we have over 100 Affiliates and many more partners in 65 countries across the world. HelpAge work in corroboration with UNHCR through its Emergency and Recovery program with its offices in Kibondo to assist Host communities and Refugee with Specific Needs (PSN) in Nduta and Mtendeli Camps. HelpAge is inviting bids for the tender of providing the security guards and services for the Emergency and Recovery Program Office in Kibondo. Tender will be conducted through competitive tendering procedures specified in the HelpAge International Procurement Guidelines. Interested eligible bidders are required to confirm their interest by sending their contact information including email address to; tanzania.office@helpage.org. Their expression of interest should be addressed to Country Director, HelpAge International. HelpAge will send the complete bid documents in English Language to the bidders through their email and will not be held responsible for any cost related to printing of the bid document. Bidder must submit the proposal in a sealed envelope addressed to Country Director, HelpAge International P.O. Box 9846, Dar es Salaam, by hand or post. The envelop will be received at our Dar es Salaam Country Program Office located 146 Migombani street, Regent Estate, Mikocheni, or can be dropped in our tender box at Emergency and Recovery Program Office, Kinyamhela Street, Kibondo, Kigoma, Tanzania before 11 am Thursday 14th June 2018. The tender opening ceremony will be done on 14th June 2018 at 2.pm. HelpAge is not bound/obligated to accept the lowest/highest or any of the bids. Late tender, portion of tender, electronic tenders, tender not received, tender not opened and tender not readout in public at the tender open ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
