Company Industry: Construction Job Level: Senior level Work Type: Full Time Highest Qualification: Bachelor Years of Experience: 2 years Location: Ilala, Ilala Dar Es Salaam Description Reporting Relationship: The Engineer will be reporting directly to the General Manager and Board of Directors and shall supervise the Technicians and Artisans. Key Responsibilities •Oversees the Budgeting and Budgetary Control processes within CCL and ensures that budgets developed are both realistic and understood by those people who will have to achieve them. •Manages the company’s business push, driving up turnover, profits and cash flows in a sustainable manner, working in the best long term interests of the company. •Good knowledge of construction matters; tendering procedures and project management •Good relations with TANROADS, TARURA, and Other Councils where company is active; •Writing Tenders and arranging Performance bonds for tenders won; •Effectively supervising construction sites through network of trusted work foremen; •Ensuring quality construction, work schedule proceeds as per contract and works contracted are finished in given time; •Managing costs to ensure works are completed on pre-approved budgets •Performs any other duty assigned by the General Manager or Board of Directors.
