Company Industry: NGO Job Level: Management level Work Type: Full Time Minimum Qualification: Bachelor Years of Experience: 4 years Location: Other Arusha District Arusha Description Primary Responsibilities: Managing the school with all its sub-projects/activities such as B&B, Restaurant, etc., in particular implementing the strategy defined by the Board of Trustees Overview, optimise the pedagogical curriculum, the selection of the students, strengthen the network with our hotel partners, working with local institutions and government bodies Manages the school’s staff and site according to the set objectives evaluating, planning, implementing and new projects that fit the strategy, working with donors and stakeholders; and overseeing the annual and program budgets Implements the strategy and action plan defined by MTAD Switzerland respectively his supervisor Program Management: implements and effectively manages the projects Supervises financial operations, provides oversight for financial management of the Foundation, including development of annual budget, monitoring of receipts and expenditures and analyzing financial status of the Foundation, with a weekly reporting Helps to raise funds within the national/international community Sets up strong relationships with international support organizations, such as SES, Kitchen without Boarders, Hotel Management Schools, etc. Marketing and public relations to establish networks to continue the Foundations’ mission and future projects Represent the Foundation at various events and networking with organizations/individuals sharing of the same common goals Required Qualifications: Female mandatory, (>35yrs) B.A/ B.S degree (or equivalent), pedagogy or business studies Experience in managing schools (or similar) such as vocational training centers, etc. Hotel/tourism experience a great plus Commitment to service and passion for youth/adolescent international development experience required Experience living in Africa required Ability to work in highly collaborative environment Have exceptional written and oral communication skills Flexible, problem solving, multitasking, goal oriented Be proficient with Microsoft Office software Work well under minimal supervision and be self-motivated Drivers license Fluent in English, additional languages and basic Swahili a plus
