Company Industry: Agriculture Job Level: Mid level Work Type: Full Time Minimum Qualification: Certificate Years of Experience: 3 years Location Kilosa Morogoro Description Job Description Position Title: Mechanical Technician Reports To: Supervising Mechanical Technician Division/Department: Mechanical Principal Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies: a)Maintains, diagnoses and repairs a variety of equipment including; diesel engines, transmissions, drive train components, high pressure pumps, centrifugal pumps, conveyor systems, air compressors, micro processor controls, electro-mechanical equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, gearboxes, PTO's, generators, chemical metering systems, 12/24v electrical systems, equipment cabs and controls, chassis and suspension, rims, tires and wheels, A/C systems, and a variety of other energy services equipment. b)Responsible for ensuring the duties of their position are performed in a safe, efficient and effective manner. c)Performs preventive/predictive maintenance procedures on equipments. d)Performs inspections required by company, and government entities. e)Performs basic troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. f)Installs and/or replaces new or reconditioned repair parts g)Tests equipment for proper operation h)A valid Driver’s License is an added advantage. i)Requires basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic circuits/drawings/prints j)Must complete proper paperwork as assigned k)Performs basic cutting and welding procedures l)Use of diagnostic equipment (i.e., DVOM) m)Familiarization of electronic cables, connections and sensors. n)Performs other related duties as assigned To apply for this job, please visit the following link: https://www.zoomtanzania.com/login?redirect=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.zoomtanzania.com%2Fengineering-jobs%2Fmechanical-technician-1274132%3Fs%3Dc2d664400ee1df4358336b0ed7baf04f
