Company Industry: Human Resources Job Level: Mid level Work Type: Full Time Minimum Qualification: Diploma Years of Experience: 4 years Location Other Dar es Salaam District Dar Es Salaam Description REPORT TO: OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR Job Purpose: -Supports the day-to-day operation of the distribution terminal business as a focal point for internal and external customers. -Safely perform all duties related to the receipt, storage, and distribution of products. Working Relations: -Depot Manager/Supervisors -All depot staff Key Deliverables: -Loading of trucks, vessels and barges. -Daily tank dipping -Stock Accounting -Product receipt from vessel, liaises with surveyors -Leakage detection and control -Haul aging of trucks -Monitoring of meters. -Maintaining a product loading register Required Qualifications: -At least 4 years experience in depot operations -National Diploma or equivalent in Applied Science Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Physical Science and/ or Mathematics ) -Experience in Oil and gas industry -Computer literate -Strong analytical and problem solving skills; -Good internet skill including use of e-mail program -Experience with Microsoft office -Team player with good communication skills; -Ability to work with minimal supervision; and -Good Oral and written communication skills Minimum Personal Traits/Attributes: -Enthusiasm and commitment are essential to complete activities. -Self?motivated, excellent attention to details and enjoys working in a team -Hard working -Quick thinker -Able to work under pressure -Good interpersonal skills -Have high regard for safety procedures -Enthusiastic and committed To apply for this job, please go to the following website: https://www.brightermonday.co.tz/job/operations-officer-kg5nmj
