Women Fund Tanzania -“Empowering Local Women Heroes” (WFT) is an upcoming women’s rights fund and the first of its kind in Tanzania. As an innovative grant maker, WFT provides a funding mechanism which aims at enhancing the voice and visibility of women’s rights organizations through grant making and capacity strengthening. WFT facilitates women’s rights actors at different levels in the country to realize their full potential for empowerment, access to rights and women’s movement building in the country. WFT was incorporated as Nonprofit making non-government organization (NGO) in year 2008 and started its operations in year 2010. To adequately fulfill its objectives and in line with the expansion of its activities in the country, WFT is inviting applications from suitably qualified and self-motivated Tanzanians of high personal integrity to apply for the following position: Finance Assistant: S/he will work under the supervision of Finance Manager, with responsibilities of providing facilitation assistance to finance accounting and management activities of WFT in line with respective WFT Grants and Finance Policies, as well as donoragreements. Qualifications:S/He must holder the Bachelor degree in Finance /accounting or advanced diploma in accounts from reputable institute.Holder of higher qualifications will be an added advantages. Remuneration: Reasonable remuneration will be paid to successful candidate.
