Motorola unveils the Moto 1S, a G6 copy with Lenovo's ZUI

The Moto S1 is expected to be sold in China only, which makes sense. In other parts of the world, where available, it can be bought as the Moto G6. That means that the handset features a 5.7-inch LCD screen with a 1080 x 2160 resolution, and an aspect ratio of 18:9.

Powering the device is a Snapdragon 450 mobile platform featuring an octa-core CPU running at a clock speed of 1.8GHz. Crunching graphics is the Adreno 506 GPU. 4GB of RAM is inside along with 64GB of native storage. There is a dual camera setup on back (12MP + 5MP) and a 16MP selfie snapper in front. Keeping the lights on is a 3000mAh battery, and P2i's nanocoating protects the phone from spills and light rain.

The Moto 1S was unveiled earlier today and is now available now for purchase in China, priced at 1,499 Chinese Yuan. At current exchange rates, that works out to $233 USD. The device can be bought from Motorola.com, JD.com, TMall.com, Suning, and Brookstone.
