Huawei expands Y-series through affordable 4G smartphones in Tanzania

Huawei Device Tanzania has recently announced the expansion of its Y-series smartphone with two brand devices Huawei Y3II and Y5II. Y series two entry-level smartphones phones have two versions, respectively the 3G and the 4G version mainly targeting mid and low-end market. Most likely the devices are available for Tanzanian users since early July.

The 4G smartphones provides faster Internet speed to surf, send, receive and download content, enhancing user a world class experience and uninterrupted internet Usage. Huawei Device Tanzania the leading device solutions in Tanzania has once again remembered the entry-level as well.

“The expansion of our 4G entry- level smartphones all over the country is in line with our commitment to provide our customers with world class device solutions that will enable all Tanzanians to enjoy 4G speed regardless of their incomes,” said Miss. Jane Wang, Huawei Device Marketing Manager.

“Huawei Y3II and Y5II 4G has come at the right time because I can now enjoy downloads without interruption,” said Evangelister Isdory a 2 nd year student in one of the prominent university in Tanzania.

Y3II 3G version adopts a 4.5-inch 850*480p resolution display screen, powered by MT6582 processor, Y5II 3G version boasts a 5-inch 1280*720p resolution screen, equipped with MT6582 processor. The battery capacity of the two devices is very powerful.

4G version of Huawei Y3II and Huawei Y5II has upgraded the processor to MT6735P, support for dual SIM dual standby, and running on EMUI3.1 which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The smartphones are provided with the 1 GB of RAM and also both devices are having 8 GB of internal in built memory that can be further expandable up to 32 GB with the microSD card.
