Charitable Eyecare Mission is a non governmental organization dedicated to provision of eyecare services to the marginalized parts of the community in order to eliminate needless blindness through community based programs.

We are currently running three programs:
- Running of optometry clinics or vision centres: we have two active eye clinics, one in Ngulelo, in Arusha
- Organization of mobile or outreach eye clinics: With collaboration with government at district hospital we travel and provide free eye care services to the remote or rural parts of the district
- Training programs: We are training local people on how to diagnose on their own blindness leading diseases and where they could receive appropriate services.

Future major plan:
We are raising funds which will buy a plot of land in Babati, Manyara region in which we will build an eye hospital. We need everybody's support in this major work.
