We are looking for a motivated and highly experienced individual to fill the position of: Digital Reporter (1 Post) Purpose: The Digital Reporter is responsible for creating, curating, and delivering high-quality, engaging, and timely news content across digital platforms. Main Responsibilities: Content Creation: Produce accurate, clear, and engaging news articles, videos, and multimedia content for The Citizen’s digital platforms, including the website and social media. Breaking News Coverage: Monitor and report on breaking news events, ensuring timely updates and comprehensive coverage. Digital Publishing: Manage and update content on the website and social media platforms using content management systems and scheduling tools. Research & Reporting: Conduct thorough research, interviews, and fact-checking to ensure the credibility and accuracy of all content. Audience Engagement: Interact with readers and followers on social media, fostering community engagement and increasing audience reach. Collaboration: Work closely with editors, photographers, videographers, and designers to produce cohesive stories. Analytics and Performance Tracking: Analyze web traffic and engagement metrics using tools like Google Analytics or similar platforms. Use data insights to refine content strategy and improve reach and impact. Coordinate with social media and marketing teams to amplify content reach. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Academic: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or its equivalent from a recognized institution. Experience: 2-3 years of working experience in digital content creation and reporting.
