THE EXCHANGE is a monthly newspaper highlighting the financial and capital markets of East Africa. The publication aims to increase the knowledge of readers to gain a better understanding of the investment potential in the region. Given the focus of the East African Community, and the integration of a unified East African Capital Market, news will draw on financial bulletins relevant to foreign investor interests. THE EXCHANGE aims to provide economic copious thought through articles on the capital markets of the EAC Member States (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi), with features on regional finance, free trade and business. While a strong focus will be on the financial industry in the region, there will be a specific focus on regional stock exchanges, trends in markets and international markets affecting East Africa. A specific editorial will highlight the financial industry, namely the banking and business sectors in the respective East African nations. Objective To increase awareness and greater understanding of East Africa’s capital markets and financial industry. Target Audience The target audience will be professionals in the investment sector and/or financial industry and business owners. Anyone who has a passion for finance and investments in East Africa will be able to appreciate the content of the publication. Currently the company is looking for passionate and self driven individuals to fill the post of social media specialist to boost the company’s online presence. Job Description: • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification. • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform( Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Googleplus etc) to increase the visibility of company’s social content • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information • Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions Skill Requirement: • Proven working experience in social media or related field • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability • Fluency in English • Background in Finance would be an added advantage APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: If you meet above requirements, please send your cover letter (clearly indicating preferred position) and latest Curriculum Vitae (You should not attach copies of certificates or transcripts) through Hellen.m@exchange.co.tz to reach us by 25th April, 2016.
