Responsibilities Cash Management 1. Establish cash positions on a weekly basis for office bank accounts 2. Write cheques to beneficiaries based on approved Cash disbursement vouchers 3. Process wire transfers through S2B system to staff and beneficiaries 4. Enter payments templates into U-drive/Sun System on a daily basis 5. Facilitate secure and timely cash transfer to the Partners and Vendors based on their cash requests Reporting Functions 1. Prepare petty cash liquidation journal vouchers for review by Operations Accountant 2. Update Vehicle cost allocation report by adding required information for cost allocation i.e. T-Codes. 3. Booking International staffs’ Kids schools’ vehicle usage to account code 6021 Sound Financial Accounting Systems 1. Preparation of General ledger Journals for data Entry into Sun System. 2. Filling and stamping all transactions vouchers on daily basis after being approved. 3. Attach bank statements to all payment vouchers. Personal Competencies: 1. Demonstrated strengths in financial management with a strong client service focus; able to work with diverse groups of people and team oriented environment. 2. Skilled in obtaining information necessary to accomplish duties. 3. Able to prioritize work, multi-task and meet deadlines. 4. Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level. 5. Strong customer orientation. 6. Ability to develop effective systems considering organizational effectiveness and impact on people. 7. Strong organizational and planning skills, detail oriented and able to work independently. Knowledge, skills & Experience a. Bachelor degree in a respective field such as Accounting, Finance or Financial Management b. At least two years’ experience in processing cash disbursements c. Excellent computer skills, including MS software: Word, Excel, and Outlook. d. Excellent team-building skills and the ability to interact well with staff, collaborating agencies, and local partners. e. English and Swahili spoken and written. f.
