Job Role: Experienced Position Type: Full Time Organization Type: NGO Location: Kinondoni, Mbezi Dar Es Salaam Description Bethsaida Secondary School located in Mpiji Magoe, Dar es Salaam is looking for the new headmistress who will head the school. Minimum age of the applicant: 40 years of age The Position: The Headmistress of the Bethsaida Secondary School functions as the senior operating official of the school and is primarily responsible to monitor the day to day operations of the school and ensure the mission of Bethsaida Secondary School is fulfilled in all aspects of the program. More specific job responsibilities include: Candidate Qualifications: The Headmistress plays a critical role in the mission of Bethsaida Secondary School and therefore needs to possess the appropriate educational and experiential preparation to lead the school. Accordingly, successful candidates are expected to hold appropriate degree in education and/or educational administration. Advanced degrees in these areas will provide candidates with additional evidence of skills and knowledge pertaining to this role. In addition, successful candidates will possess experience in the following areas; teaching, school administration, and extracurricular program administration. Prior experience in positions similar to a headmistress will be highly valued. The headmistress must make sure her age is above 40 and below 50 years.
