FINANCE MANAGER

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The finance Manager is responsible to the Chief Manager-Finance and Planning for proper maintenance of the bank's books of accounts according to the bank's laid down procedures, NBAA and International Accounting Standards as well as Bank of Tanzania Prudential Guidelines. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY 1. Ensuring the proper accounting system has been established and maintained 2. Ensuring that bank's of accounts are properly maintained according to established accounting standards. 3. Checking the daybooks to ensure that all the day's vouchers have been accurately posted. 4.Preparing annual budget and monitoring its implementation to ensure that both the income and expenditure budgets are always within the approved levels 5. Reporting to the board on a quarterly basis, implementation of the plan and giving reasons for any big deviations from the budget to actual results realized. 6. Ensuring the preparation and timely submission of returns and financial statements to the bank of Tanzania 7. Ensuring that procurement of stationery and other assets are strictly done within the approved budget.
