ICT Services Officer/Specialist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops and implement company's ICT strategy and policy relating to all matters and to ensure adherence to organizational policies; Develop, implement, monitor and control user support procedures to ensure that all user support problems are addressed timely and effectively; Develop, monitor and control database systems (including GIS based database) to ensure easy access and retrieval of database information; Manage LAN/WAN to ensure all workstations are connected; Monitor and control systems (sever administration, accounting systems, email system, Internet, HR system); Manage the implementation of ICT projects to ensure that deadlines, deliverables and objectives are realized; Studies, designs and assists in the installation of computer systems/programs; Advises on the strategic direction of key ICT resources including web sites and information databases as per the Government of Tanzania guidelines; Ensures that the Company ICT systems are maintained securely Any other related duties as may be required from time to time.
