VAS Platform Engineer

Objectives: The position is responsible in ensuring VAS platforms and DATA are properly maintained and follows agreed standards and that regulatory requirements are complied Key Responsibilities: • Implementation and configuration of different VAS solutions. • Coordinate integration activities between the VAS solutions with the core network, the LAN, the charging systems and the third party content providers. • Ensure timely delivery of content through VAS solutions. • Operation and Maintenance of the hardware and software of VAS nodes (Mobile Money, CRBT, and USSD). • Provide second level support for customer care. • Ensure timely backups of all the important data in the VAS nodes. • Generation of reports requested by marketing department for analysis • Monitoring the logs of VAS platforms. • Co-ordination with Revenue Assurance for Revenue consolidation. • Development & Definition of charging matrix for VAS Platforms • Quality Testing verification of CDR's (Call Detail Records) for the new packages launched and existing packages. • Troubleshoot all the issues related to Charging system and system performance. • Maintain user profile, privileges and access rights for VAS in accordance to the laid down procedures by assigning proper rights to all users. • Keep management appraised on potential risks by providing early warning report. • Ensure that all structures, procedures, processes, instructions on Quality Management System are properly documented, maintained and implemented by preparing and updating process and procedures. • Ensure regulatory requirements for VAS platform are maintained
