TANROADS is looking for suitably qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill vacant posts available for the project of: Upgrading of Kibondo-Mabamba Road Project to Bitumen Standard Upgrading of Kibondo-Townlink Construction of Malagarasi Span Lower Bridge under World Bank Sponsorship Job type: Full-time Position Title: Materials Engineer – 1 Post (for Bridge Project) Entry Qualifications: Must be a Tanzanian Citizen who holds a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution. Must be registered with ERB as a Professional Engineer and have a current practicing license. A postgraduate qualification in geotechnical/pavement engineering is an added advantage. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in reviewing all structural drawings and reports for conformity to applicable standards and specifications. Assist in preparing mini progress reports with updated costs of drainage works on a daily basis.
