The company is solely owned by the public entities. The MHCL head office is located at Plot 38 Kweiminyasa-Mponde, Bumbuli District Council in the Tanga Region. The company owns a tea-processing factory at Mponde and deals with the purchase of green tea leaves and processing the same. MHCL is seeking to employ qualified, dynamic, committed, responsible, and self-motivated people to fill the following vacant positions mentioned below: Position: Mechanical Technician (1) Job type: Full-time Reports to: Company Engineer Duty Station: 38 Kweiminyasa-Mponde, Bumbuli, Tanga Tenure: Fixed term of three years, renewable based on performance Responsibilities: Prepares, leads, and implements mechanical routine/preventative maintenance plans Installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical components of industrial equipment Making decisions based on technical documents Observing safety procedures and meeting electrical codes Performing quality testing and inspections Working as a team member or alone to complete projects Working under pressure and being able to work well under pressure Academic Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial/Agro Engineering Work Experience: At least two (2) years’ experience in the tea processing industry or related industriesJob opportunities Remuneration: Competitive based on experience
