I. KEY JOB TASKS 1. OVERALL OBJECTIVE: • Reports to Senior Accountant • Integrated in the Accounts Department 2. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITY • Assist clients who want to open up a Ledger account with the conditions stipulated by the management • Open up ledger accounts for clients • With help of Credit Control Assistant prepare Weekly Statements and E-mail to Clients • Performing Reconciliation for Cash Sales account • Communicating to Clients whose accounts have been Blocked due to exceeding the limits and/ or credit period • Follow up with Credit Control Assistant on posting of the invoice batches • Activate Credit Notes raised by Customer Care • Activate discounts which have been posted by the Customer Care ensuring that it is authorized by the Director[s] or the Chief Accountant. • Approval of the payment vouchers for clients being refunded excess payment or refunds against credit notes. • Ageing of trade and other receivables and forwarding the same to Chief Accountant on a monthly basis • And any other duties that you may be assigned to you from time to time. II. JOB SPECIFICATION 1. A minimum of ONE year of experience in similar functions; 2. Bachelor or diploma in Accounts or finance or any other related field 3. Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization; 4. Good, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills; 5. Demonstrated ability to share skills and knowledge with others; 6. Proficiency with office computer equipment and software; 7.
