Post Purpose To be responsible for the administration and educational leadership of Helasita Secondary School . Qualifications and experience This position demands at least bachelor degree in relevant field with 5+ years of experience in similar position. Responsibilities and Tasks 1 Administration To be responsible for the day to day management of the School. To oversee students admission To be responsible for the deployment of teachers and the assignment of their responsibilities, in consultation with the School Manager. To oversee disciplinary matters. To serve as a member of the Education Sub-Committee of the Board of Trustees. To work to further strengthen the link between the school and parents. To liaise with the school ‘Ministry Liaison Officer’ regarding Ministry of Education and Vocational Training matters. To oversee daily matters such as students’ attendance, registers, cover, etc. To lead regular staff meetings. To support the development and implementation of the MIS. To contribute to the school strategic planning and its implementation. 2 Academic To co-ordinate curriculum planning, development and implementation in association with the Academic Master and Heads of Departments . To monitor staff performance and curriculum delivery. To monitor student progress through the Academic Master To plan for the staff Professional Development.
