Minimum Experience: 5 Qualification: Degree/ Post Graduate Degree in Business Administration Number of Vacancies: 1 Location in Tanzania: Dar es Salaam Job Description: 1) SALES ACTIVITIES Exceeds personal sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis Solicits wholesale and tour series business through action plan preparation and execution Independently responsible for achievement of objectives, as outlined in the action plans Identifies key prospects based on hotel goals and achieve specific conversion goals Actively supports the goals of the team and recommends revenue producing activities and ways to implement As directed, participates in tradeshows, road shows and promotional events within the hotel and trade related organizations Maintains positive relationships with all guests, tour operators, colleagues and global sales network 2) SALES ADMINISTRATION Maintains account, contact, activity and business details within Opera S&C according to Wyndham Hotel Group standards. Upon confirming, coordinates and follows up with hotel departments to ensure delivery of hotels promised services Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports, as required Compiles marketing and competitive intelligence information Attends all sales meetings 3) OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties, as assigned Qualifications: · Previous experience is an must · Five years of hotel sales experience with minimum three years at Hotel Sales Manager level. · Wholesale, leisure & travel industry background required. · Has established relationships with industry contacts, · Microsoft Office suite of software literacy an asset · Opera Sales & Catering knowledge an asset Apply at: http://www.enrichafrica.org/jobs/sales-manager-wholesale-leisure-travel-industry
